One Essex Court is delighted to announce that Lord Neuberger of Abbotsbury has joined Chambers. In confirming his arrival, Lord Grabiner said, ‘I am delighted that Lord Neuberger, until recently the President of the UK Supreme Court, has, with immediate effect, joined our Chambers at One Essex Court as an arbitrator.’
Lord Neuberger, who retired from the Supreme Court at the end of September said, ‘I am very pleased to be joining One Essex Court, and, having retired from the bench, I am looking forward to what I hope will be an equally stimulating time as an arbitrator. Judging and arbitration have much in common, but there are also a number of significant distinctions.’
