In addition to the tenancies available through our pupillage process, One Essex Court welcomes applications from practitioners of appropriate calibre whatever their level of seniority (and whether from other Chambers or from solicitors' firms). We also welcome informal enquiries from those who would like more information or who are otherwise not ready to make an application.

Any enquiry or application should be made in writing to the Tenancy Committee, One Essex Court, Temple, London EC4Y 9AR or, if you prefer, to the Head of Chambers, Lord Grabiner QC. All inquiries and any application will be treated in the strictest confidence.

As with those completing pupillage at One Essex Court, decisions on whether to admit an applicant as a member of Chambers are taken by a vote of all members at a Chambers meeting.

We encourage applications from people from all sections of society regardless of gender, race, disability, sexual orientation, religion, belief or age.

Further information can be obtained from the Senior Clerk, Darren Burrows on +44 (0)20 7583 2000 or dburrows@oeclaw.co.uk
