Rob Smith
Deputy Senior Clerk
Rob joined One Essex Court in March 2007 having previously worked at Fountain Court chambers for 10 years. Rob began his career as a barrister’s clerk in 1994. He is a team leader, presently responsible for the management and practice development of the King's Counsel within Chambers. His principal duties include daily liaison with clients in relation to practices, distribution of work, management of Counsels' diaries and fee negotiation. Rob also has a very detailed knowledge of court listings within all divisions and is involved in the promotion and marketing of Chambers both domestically and internationally.
