Anthony de Garr Robinson QC has written an article titled “Over to you?”, which looks at the recent case of In the Matter of Prudential Assurance Company Ltd and Rothesay Life Plc ([2020] EWCA Civ 1626, [2020] All ER (D) 32 (Dec)) and the recasting of the principles to be applied on an application for sanctioning an insurance transfer under Part VII of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000. Anthony de Garr Robinson QC acted for the intervenor, the Association of British Insurers, in the case.
