We are delighted that head of Chambers Lord Grabiner QC was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement award at the Chambers UK Bar Awards 2020. When announcing the award, Chambers UK noted that for 40 years, Lord Grabiner had “battled it out on some incredible commercial disputes at the Bar. Whether the Liverpool FC owner case, or Apple v Apple, our winner has been at the heart of it all”.
In addition, David Wolfson QC won Commercial Litigation Silk of the Year at the virtual event, having also been nominated as Banking Silk of the Year. One Essex Court were shortlisted as Set of the Year in Commercial Litigation, Banking and Competition, and Derek Spitz was nominated as Competition Junior of the Year.
