One Essex Court congratulates Julian Ghosh KC on his appointment as a Senator of the College of Justice in Scotland. He will take office on 24 August, sitting as a Lord Ordinary in Outer House of the Court of Session, in Scotland's Supreme Civil Court.
As a Senator of the College of Justice, Julian will hear a broad range of civil matters, including commercial, criminal, family, immigration and international child abduction cases.
Julian was called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1993, took silk in 2006, and was called to the Scottish Bar in 1999, taking silk there in 2010.
