Sir John Chadwick was one of six newly appointed judges to the Dubai International Financial Centre Courts. The judges took their oath before Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The Governor of the DIFC Courts Dr Omar Mohammed Ahmed bin Sulaiman said the appointment of world-class judges to the DIFC Courts reflects the rapid growth and expansion of the Centre, which adopts international standards in the settling of legal disputes. Sir John will combine sitting in Dubai with his practice as an arbitrator in London.
