One Essex Court congratulates Christopher Style KC on his election to be the next Chair of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) Board. The appointment comes into effect from December 2022. Christopher has served as the LCIA’s Deputy Chair since 2007 and as an LCIA Board Member since 2000. Consistently ranked as a leading arbitrator in the Chambers UK Bar and Legal 500 directories, Christopher practises as a full-time arbitrator at One Essex Court, and has 40 years’ experience of international dispute resolution, including acting as counsel and arbitrator in institutional and ad hoc references with seats in many of the centres of international arbitration.
