One Essex Court members to speak during London International Disputes Week 2021 (LIDW21)

One Essex Court is pleased to be a part of London International Disputes Week 2021 (LIDW21), taking place from 10-14 May 2021.

LIDW21 is a fully virtual event attracting audiences from jurisdictions globally. The week seeks to promote London as a leading centre for international dispute resolution and celebrates its rich heritage, and with its theme ‘Looking forward: change, challenge and opportunity’, LIDW21 will provide crucial insights on the business and law of international dispute resolution.

One Essex Court is delighted that 8 members of Chambers will be participating in the programme, with 5 members speaking during the conference and 3 members co-hosting LIDW member-hosted events.

EVENTS

10 May, 10:30-11:30 (BST) - Stephen Auld QC will join a panel at the conference, discussing “The remote-working lawyer: how to build new professional relationships, and maintain the ones you have”.

10 May, 12:00-13:00 (BST) Dame Elizabeth Gloster will chair a panel at the conference, which will look at “London and the new, decentralised disputes resolution landscape”.

10 May, 18:00-19:00 (BST) - LIDW MEMBER-HOSTED EVENT: One Essex Court and Linklaters will be co-hosting a session on “Climate change litigation – what are the private and public law risks?”. Speakers include Sa’ad Hossain QC.
